London Jets, after a poor showing in the 4TT, got back to League action with a narrow home win against Westwood, getting a win by 46-44. Vaclav Cervenka top scored with 12, 4 wins from 5 races, and he was backed by Scott Allen, Jamie Airey and TJ Imbert who all scored paid 8. Alan Baylee said after the meeting, "we did enough but didn't fire on all cylinders as we have done in previous home meetings. This fixture is our final one of the season at Westwood, and I hope we are not having to get a bonus point as we didn't get a big enough lead to take there, but we will see." Up next for the Jets was a trip to Hailsham, where the Jets lost by 2 and kept up their chances of the bonus point in the home meeting. Scott Allen got 10 along with Vaclav Cervenka, but it was an injury to the latter that will cause concern for Alan Baylee as he will miss 2 weeks. Baylee added, " he took a tumble in heat 15 and will miss 2 weeks. We will probably use a guest for the trip to Stone Cross and then decide either on a guest for the home meeting the week after or go with rider replacement and share his rides with the team, as the lads are all comfortable at home...."
