The Bullets travelled to Rowley and claimed all the points in dramatic style in a thrilling encounter at the West Midlands Arena.

The Bullets triumphed in a thrilling meeting that see-sawed this way and that before a rare strong finish to the meeting saw the Lincs side grab the league points in style.
With the opening Heat shared, after Martin Greer and Lewie Carr followed Riku Uljas home, Bottesford's reserve pairing of Will Stone and Ricky Ede grabbed a deserved 5-1 for the visitors to take an early lead.
After a shared third heat, Rowley's Peter Taylor and Ronan Cave scored a home 5-1 over Mike Cartwright and Ede to level the scores at 12 each, before John Stroud led home Lewie Carr and team mate Gary Turner and our own, Martin Greer.
The 2 point gap remained intact for the hosts after 9 heats, before Micky Zane and Riku Uljas beat Hamilton and the returning post injury, Zoltan Stepukhin, stretched it to 6 in the next. A team meeting at this point seemed to really spur the Bullets on and they conceded the advantage in just one more race in the last 5 of the meeting.
"We just decided to go for it!" said Greer, "I'd started poorly really, running a last in Heat 5, but I was determined to race better on bike number 2 and it proved the catalyst as I didn't lose again on my way to 11 points."
Greer and fan's favourite Carr, combined to claim a 5-1 for Bottesford over Taylor and Bennie Freeburn to close the gap again. Greer then raced to a win in Heat 13 over Uljas, Mike Cartwright pipped the hard charging Peter Taylor to hand the Bullets a 4-2 and close the gap to 2.
The grandstand finish by Bottesford was on and Zoltan Stepukhin and Stone put the visitors two ahead with an outstanding Heat 14 maximum win - 2 became a 4 point away win as Greer flew from the gate and was away, Turner was second and Lewie Carr held off Uljas in some style to see the visiting team home for their first away win.
Team Manager, Paul Duff, couldn't hide his delight at the win and enthused "We were on our mettle today, and to power home in the latter stages, is a real flip for us and perhaps marks a turning point in the season. Last week in the 4's there were signs we were getting things together, but I was delighted this transferred itself into a fine performance here today. We scored pretty solidly and took our chance today. I'm delighted for the lads they;ve earned that one"
