Week 14 in the Academy League promises to be a real humdinger locally, as the Bullets make the short trip to the North Bank of the Humber to take on their near neighbours and close rivals the Hull Angels.
Bottesford Manager Paul Duff was relishing the encounter "We have a massive away fixture next up with our local rivals from Hull, who are in terrific form, particularly at home. In fact our league records are almost identical so it promises to be a great encounter on the North bank"
Hull have been impressive at home this term reaming unbeaten with 4 wins and a draw in front of their fans so far. Only League Leaders Westwood have come away with a point so far so the Bullets have their work cut out.
Duff added "Both sides have been in good form of late so it should be entertaining. Hull will definitely fancy their chances at home, but we're going there with some confidence ourselves, bouyed by this week's 3TT win."
Duff was keen to praise his opposite number at Priory Park too "Mark Evans has put a decent side together and took a risk in his recent changes, though Matt Kay has fitted in well after replacing Aaron Dowden on a similar average. They score well at home and can be a handful, but we're not going there to make up the numbers and we are riding well. I hope the fans travel en masse across the Humber to support us and hopefully we can run them close at the very least. The form book would suggest a Home win by around 49-41, but I'm optimistic."
Bottesford currently sit 2nd in the league with Hull 3rd by virtue of the Lincolnshire side having more wins.
This looks like being a humdinger in the Battle of the Humber round 2, Bottesford claimed a narrow 48-42 win in the first encounter at the Bullet Arena
