Wednesfield Wanderers sponsored by Welding Services slipped down to 7th after a home draw with Thornaby and losing the bonus point in a run off and then losing at Ispwich where they did gain the bonus point. Manager Steve Morgan added, "2 points from 2 meetings isn't really promotion form, but we still have the slightest of chances of getting promoted, but we are relying on results really going our way. There are so many permutations to getting in what is now the 4th spot due to the closure of Glastonbury, who look like being deserved champions. Someone finishing 4th will get promoted so there is a lot still to ride for..." Morgan has made rider changes for the last meeting of the season where he is expecting a bumper home crowd to cheer his team on. " I have swapped Skipper Phil Hayes with Boris as I think heats 13 and 15 will require our big guns. We really need to get into this top 4 as not getting promoted will mean we will lose our asset Boris Dvoynev who has been fantastic for us this season. Jamie Vaughan will go back to his parent club, although he is someone I would also like to keep but it all depends on what league we are in next season. I'm expecting a crowd of over 2000 which would be amongst the biggest ever in the PL....."
