Two World Cup Semi Finalists are available on loan or for sale.
Ruzucha got double figures for Czech and Solberg was top scorer for Norway.
Make a note for when your UL side needs to be strengthened and watch them star in the Euro league, since they won't be riding for Logheads!

The strength in depth option is preferred by Logheads this season. The challenges showed that we will be a force if we can keep the four top riders firing. The Dempsey brothers have settled well at reserve. Reay has been trying a few things out and taken a knock or two, a very interesting start for the club captain.

Workington have threatened both ends of the table in the season, so far. Fortin returns to his parent team, with our thanks, also Liam Reay is rested for the remainder of the season.
Buoyed by the new U21 Champion, Courtney, Logheads have made a change to try and stay in the top flight. Ruzucha has earned a recall and promising Aussie U21, Judd Ivers has been signed. The Dempsey boys remain at reserve and looking to finish the season in style.

The struggles of the Senior squad have not been repeated at Junior level.
The Workington Reds have had a brilliant season, Erskine moving to Cleator Moor was replaced by Brandon Poole.
Worst result all season was Week 5s at Necrons (39 v 39). We didn't expect to remain unbeaten in the play-offs, but the riders were superb and never relaxed in any of the fixtures. What a team that will go down in history as one of the top Teams to perform in the Juvenile Junior League.

After yet another poor season, it is the Power League for the Logheads. We've been here before and, like the Great Dragon of Cumbria, we can rise again.
Oliver Courtney 10.11 Won the World Under 21 Championship and helped England win the U21 World Team Cup. Looking for a year of consolidation and try to get Logheads straight back up.
Dexter Last 9.21 First name on the team sheet and a consistent performer. Entering his 10th season under contract to Workington.
Mark Dempsey 6.67 Signed as a rising star last season and thrilled the local fans with some brave moves from the back. What does this season hold for the likeable Irishman?
Christopher Garner 5.57 Settled in well at sister club, Cleator Moor, last season and will be hoping to progress after starring for the Welsh U21 in the World Team cup.
Judd Ivers 5.00 Came into the Logheads side as they battled to remain in the Ultimate League, did enough to persuade the management that a full season would be worth the gamble.
Harvey Hedge 4.62 Paul Erskine 3.20 Last season reserve pairing for Cleator Moor, as they secured promotion from Evolution League. Both assets that have improved from Jaunt year on year and know there will be pressure to show what they can do this season.

Just before the Cup Final, where we will be hoping to inflict more pain Kev, the silence was broken by a rare interview from the Gravedigger.
We have resisted making changes, as we couldn't see a dramatic shift in form from the potential signings. This has been rewarded by a settled seven that have all kicked on, only Dexter has not seen significant improvement, but that is mostly away from the Derwent Bowl. With the team in the Cup Final an pushing for automatic promotion back to the top flight, great entertainment for the fans and a just reward for our sponsors that invested with us. Derwent Beers are looking forward to hosting a celebration party.
Oliver Courtney and Christopher Garner both qualified for the World U21 Final, for both of them it was a major focus at the start of the season. Oliver thrilled with runner-up spot after Patterson had beaten him in Heat 18 to take the trophy.
Robbie Cormack qualified for the British Final, but will have to wait for next season for another shot at the GP.
Glyn Sanson qualified for British U18 final and will be in our thoughts for next season.

Blimey, we only went and won the league, again. OK it was the Power League, but we'll celebrating a while with this. It was the only target coming into the season, so thumbs up from the Logheads faithfull.

Welcome back to the Ultimate League for the Logheads. 2020 League Winners are always tough to beat at their own track and so it proved this season. Workington struggled to beat their top 4, but at least stopped any of them getting a maximum. Dempsey and Last were a little off the pace, but Bullets looking title contenders.

A different challenge for the home side, as Newmarket lined up with former Cumbiran favourites, Solberg and Bouchard. A very slow start saw Workington 8 down after 5 heats. Cormack won Heat 6 to arrest the slide and from there on it was a thrilling match for the neutral. Kisaka and Garner joined Cormack in winning heats and belief fed back to the terraces that we could win this. Cormack and Kisaka's 4-2 in Heat 13 levelled the scores on the night. Dempsey and Garner took a 4-2 to pout Logheads in the lead for the first time. Kisaka made no mistake in Heat 15 from the tapes to ensure the win.

Workington looked to spring a surprise on the Lightning, especially after 5-1s in Heat 7: Oliver Courtney and Mark Dempsey, then Heat 8: Dexter Last and Christopher Garner. However, Kings Lynn hit striaght back with two maximums of their own. When they hit another in Heat 13, Wirkington only had pride to race for and the chance of the bonus point.

Heyvaert and Jacques looked to given Vampires control after their 2nd maximum of the night in Heat 6. Former Loghead, Mountford, helped Whitby go 10 points up after winning Heat 9. At which point Workington woke up and tactical substitutes came into play. Cormack put on an exhibition of team riding, first with Courtney and then with Last to reduce the deficit to 2. Unfortunately, it was too late as the home side won all but Heat 14 to maintain their unbeaten home record.
